BABAJIDE SANWO-OLU - 2019 - Current

Until his emergence as the Executive Governor of Lagos State, His Excellency, Mr. Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu was the Managing Director/CEO of Lagos State Development Property Corporation (LSDPC). He was also a 3-time Commissioner in Lagos State, having served in the Ministries of Economic Planning & Budget, Commerce & Industry and the Ministry of Establishments, Training & Pensions. 

Mr Akinwunmi Ambode – 2015 – 2019

Akinwunmi Ambode (2015 – 2019) Akinwunmi Ambode was born on June 14, 1963, at the Epe General Hospital, Epe, Lagos, as the sixth of ten children. His late father, Festus Akinwale Ambode was a teacher while his mother, Christianah Oluleye Ambode (nee Oresanya) was an entrepreneur who ran a thriving sewing business in her prime. 

 

Mr. Babatunde Raji Fashola, SAN-2007-2015

Babatunde Raji Fashola (2007 – 2015) Babatunde Raji Fashola of Yoruba origin, from Lagos, was born in Lagos on 28 June 1963. He attended Birch Freeman High school Lagos and Igbobi College Lagos. He studied Law at the University of Benin from where he graduated with a Bachelor of Laws, LL.B.(Hon), a degree in 1987.

Lateef Jakande Alhaji Lateef Kayode Jakande, (born 23 July 1929) was a journalist who became governor of Lagos State in Nigeria from 1979 to 1983, and later was Minister of Works under the Sani Abacha military regime (1993–98).
